Tijuana tops Monterrey, Chivas falls

Gregory Garza struck late as Tijuana snatched initiative in their Apertura quarter-final against Monterrey.
Substitute Garza popped up with the only goal in the 86th minute as Tijuana take a narrow lead into the second leg at home this weekend.
There was also an away win for Toluca, who beat Guadalajara 2-1.
The visitors took control of the match midway through the first half as Antonio Rios opened the scoring in the 24th minute and Antonio Naelson added a second moments later.

Rafael Marquez Lugo's 74th minute penalty gave Guadalajara a way back into it, but they have plenty of work ahead of them in the second leg.
