The Swedish Football Association says it will open the league trophy to find out whether the silversmith who made it left a secret inscription dedicated to his favorite team.
Citing a friend of the late silversmith, Ingemar Eklund, Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter reported that he wrote ''Bajen forever'' on the inside of the trophy.
Bajen is the nickname of Stockholm club Hammarby IF.
FA secretary-general Mikael Santoft says that the decade-old trophy will be disassembled once it is returned by Malmo FF, which won the Swedish league on Sunday.

The trophy is always handed out to the league winners on the last day of the season, but must be returned after their celebrations.
