Sunderland has signed midfielder El-Hadji Ba from French club Le Havre.
The 20-year-old Frenchman has a three-year deal and has already joined up with his new teammates and manager Paolo Di Canio at Sunderland's training camp in Italy.
He follows Valentin Roberge, Modibo Diakite, Cabral, Jozy Altidore, David Moberg Karlsson and Duncan Watmore into the English Premier League club.
