Sunderland defender Titus Bramble has been cleared of charges of sexually assaulting two women.

He was acquitted Thursday by a jury at Teeside Crown Court after a four-day trial.

The 30-year-old player was accused of groping a woman in a nightclub before sexually assaulting another in a taxi last September. He denied the charges.

Bramble has also played for Ipswich, Newcastle and Wigan.
