Substitute Jonathan Walters scored twice as Stoke recorded a 3-0 win away to West Bromwich Albion that moves it into the top half of the Premier League.

After an uneventful first half Stoke went ahead in the 55th minute through Matthew Etherington's penalty. West Brom 'keeper Scott Carson was beaten from 12 yards after he had brought down Stoke's Kenwyne Jones.

Walters, who replaced Etherington in the 79th, doubled Stoke's advantage with five minutes to go when he converted a second penalty and the striker added a third in injury time to complete the scoring Saturday.

Stoke moves up to eighth on 19 points, while West Brom is 14th with 16.
