Brazil's sports minister has promised that the country will be ready to host the 2014 World Cup. And Aldo Rebelo is confident Brazil will host the ''best World Cup ever.''
His predictions come after a recent audit found that urban transit projects in the 12 host cities are behind schedule. But Rebelo says the projects have begun and some already are running. He adds that the construction of new stadiums and the renovation of existing ones are on schedule.
FIFA President Sepp Blatter plans to meet with Brazil's head of state to discuss his concerns over preparations.
