Czech Republic defender Tomas Zapotocny has agreed to move to Sparta Prague from Turkish club Besiktas.
Sparta says the 30-year-old central back was given a 3 1/2-year contract. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Zapotocny, who has played four international games for the Czech Republic, says ''to play for Sparta is a dream come true.''
Zapotocny won't be available for Sparta's matches against Liverpool in the first knockout round of the Europa League in February because he has played for Besiktas in the same competition this season.

Zapotocny previously played for Turkish side Bursaspor and for Udinese in Italy's Serie A.
