Spain's Albiol to undergo scans on injured knee

Spain defender Raul Albiol will undergo medical scans after injuring his right knee at training ahead of the round of 16 match against Portugal at the World Cup.
The Real Madrid center back fell awkwardly Saturday and had to be carried off the field at North West University Sports Complex.
Albiol is set undergo tests later Saturday at a local hospital.
Although he is yet to play at the World Cup, Albiol has been a regular in the Spain squad since 2007.

Spain plays Portugal on Tuesday at Green Point Stadium in Cape Town.
