Sneijder to stay at Inter Milan
Wesley Sneijder has confirmed he is staying at Inter Milan ahead of the close of the summer transfer window.
The Holland international has been heavily linked with a move to Premier League champions Manchester United.
The talented 27-year-old previously admitted he would be open to joining The Red Devils while a number of United stars stated he would be a perfect fit at Old Trafford.
Regardless of the speculation a fee was never agreed between the clubs and now Sneijder has confirmed he will be staying with Inter.
The former Real Madrid and Ajax man admits that anything is possible in football, but believes there is not enough time for a transfer to materialise.
"I'm staying at Inter. I don't think I'll leave at this moment of market," Sneijder told Sender Nos.
"Manchester United? Anything is possible in football, but I don't think this time something will happen.
"I know that if I were to leave it would have be for the right price, Inter was clear about that. But I have not spoken formally with the two Manchester clubs."
