Sevilla defender Julien Escude has signed a two-year contract extension that ties him to the Spanish club until 2013.
Escude, who has made 13 appearances for France, has been a regular for Sevilla since his arrival from Ajax in 2006.
The 31-year-old Escude helped Sevilla to win back-to-back UEFA Cups in 2006 and 2007, as well as the 2006 European Supercup.
Sevilla says the player's buyout clause is set at $23.2 million.
