Sevilla reached the knockout stage of the Europa League on Wednesday after holding on for a 2-2 with Borussia Dortmund.
The draw was enough for Sevilla to advance to the last 32 by finishing second behind Group J winner Paris Saint-Germain. Bundesliga leader Dortmund finished third to exit European play.
Dortmund needed to win at Sanchez Pizjuan stadium to go through, and Shinji Kagawa gave the visitors the lead after four minutes.
But Sevilla forward Frederic Kanoute set up Ndri Romaric's 31st-minute equalizer and headed the hosts ahead four minutes later.
