Filip Dordevic scored a quick equalizer Friday as Serbia held Russia to a 1-1 draw in a friendly.

Alexander Samedov put Russia in the lead in the 29th minute but Dordevic headed in the equalizer two minutes later.

Russia coach Fabio Capello rested most of his regular starters and tested several backup players in the team's first warm-up game ahead of the World Cup in Brazil next summer. Russia had several scoring opportunities in the first start, but Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic denied Alexander Kokorin a one-on-one attempt in the 61st minute. Serbia dominated possession in the second half.

Russia qualified for the World Cup for the first time in 12 years. Serbia failed to qualify after playing in two consecutive World Cups.
