Steven Davis scored the winning goal as Rangers beat Inverness 1-0 on Tuesday to move two points behind fierce Glasgow rival Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premier League.
The central midfielder drove home a low finish from the edge of the area just before halftime to earn the Scottish champions a narrow win.
Rangers, which has two games in hand over Celtic, wasted further chances through Kyle Lafferty and Nikica Jelavic to extend the margin of victory.
In the other match in Scotland's top division, Hearts rallied to beat Kilmarnock 2-1 thanks to two goals by Stephen Elliott in the final 17 minutes.

The Edinburgh side remained third but is now only seven points
behind Celtic with a game in hand.
