Derek Riordan created all three goals as Hibernian came from behind to beat Motherwell 3-2 in their Scottish Premier League opener on Sunday.
John Sutton put Motherwell ahead in the 13th minute by flicking home Tom Hateley's cross, but Anthony Stokes latched onto Riordan's free kick in first-half injury time and forced the ball into the net to level.
Another precision delivery from Riordan in the 64th enabled Paul Hanlon to put Hibs in front, but the ball appeared to come off his arm.
Riordan fed the ball into Liam Miller's path in the 73rd for the midfielder to slot in the visitors' third.
