Maurice Edu fired Rangers to a 1-0 victory over Hamilton in the
Scottish Premier League on Saturday.
Only a minute after his 35-meter shot hit the post, Edu
collected a pass from Kenny Miller and beat the goalkeeper from
close range in the 11th minute at Ibrox Park.
Rangers struggled after that but held on to move to 73
points. Second-place Celtic, which has 60 points, is at
fourth-place Hibernian on Sunday.
In Saturday's other games, Falkirk won 1-0 at Motherwell and
St. Mirren held Hearts to a 1-1 draw.
