Falkirk's attempt to avoid relegation from the Scottish Premier
League was hit Saturday by a 1-0 home loss to Hamilton.
Marco Paixao scored a first-half header as Falkirk missed the
chance to climb off the bottom of the standings.
Falkirk stayed on 28 points, one fewer than Kilmarnock.
Killie lost 1-0 at St. Mirren, which is now four points ahead
of Falkirk with three games remaining.
Fourth-place Motherwell won 2-0 at Hearts and Aberdeen drew
1-1 at St. Johnstone.
Rangers can clinch a second straight title with victory at
Hibernian on Sunday, when second-place Celtic is at third-place
Dundee United.
