Rangers' progress toward a second straight Scottish Premier League
title was temporarily held up Wednesday by a 0-0 draw at Dundee
United.
Victory would have meant Rangers needed only to beat Hearts
at Ibrox on Sunday to secure the championship, but it now needs
second-place Celtic to drop points against Hibernian on Saturday or
it will have to wait another week.
Third-place Dundee United secured a point at Tannadice
despite defender Mihael Kovacevic being sent off for kicking Kyle
Lafferty in the 70th minute.
Rangers has 77 points to Celtic's 66. Dundee United has 59.
