Scottish Cup Roundup, Feb 6
Holder Rangers will have to replay its fifth-round Scottish Cup
match against St. Mirren after being held to a 0-0 draw on
Saturday.
Strikers Kris Boyd and Kenny Miller both made comebacks from
injury for Rangers off the bench but couldn't find a decisive goal.
"It was a little bit frustrating but, trying to be as
objective as I can, both teams deserve another crack at it,"
Rangers assistant manager Ally McCoist said. "There was not an
awful lot between the sides, we knew it was going to be difficult."
"We didn't create as much as we hoped for but we're still in
the cup, we've got two of our strikers back on the pitch and we
have got to be reasonably happy."
Rangers will also play St. Mirren in the League Cup final on
March 21 at Hampden Park.
