Paul Scholes says it is time to "stand up" after admitting the resumption of the Champions League signals the start of the run-in.
The veteran Manchester United midfielder is hoping to add more winners' medals to his collection over the coming weeks, with his team currently top of the Premier League.
United also host Crawley Town in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday before meeting Marseille in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 next week.
Scholes is looking forward to the battle for honours and wants the Red Devils to maintain a consistent level of performance.
"It's the sign for the run-in," said Scholes. "It just kind of happens without you knowing it.
"You know there are 12 games left in the league, the FA Cup is getting down to the latter stages and Europe is starting again.
"Every game becomes more important. It is the time to stand up and start playing."
United are away to Marseille in the first leg of their European encounter and Scholes is expecting a difficult test in the South of France.
He added: "Marseille won't be easy. It's a tough place. We played there before quite a few years ago and got beaten.
"But we are looking forward to it. Hopefully it is the start of a good end to the season for us and we can go all the way to the final again and win it."
