Scharner calls for concentration
The Baggies midfielder scored the winner in the Baggies' 2-1 win at Aston Villa on Saturday to take their points tally to 11 from the last six games. It was a repeat of the kind of form during the final part of last season when 20 points from 12 games kept them in the top flight. But Scharner knows from his experience at Wigan how difficult the second campaign can be. He said: "To be honest the second season is always the toughest. You have to really concentrate to stay in the league because everyone knows you now from the first season. "There is a really high chance we will stay up but I don't want the experience I had with Wigan again. "We did well first season but then stayed up on the last day the following year. It was a live or die game, and we won, but I don't want to experience that again."
