Hristo Stoichkov has promised to instil discipline into his troops after being unveiled as the new coach of CSKA Sofia on Wednesday.
The 47-year-old former Bulgaria forward and coach succeeds Milen Radukanov, who left his post after CSKA finished third in the Bulgarian top flight last month.
"I can promise supporters with me there will be discipline," Stoichkov said during his presentation at the Balgarska Armia Stadium.
"It will be harder for the players during the week - they will have to give their everything during training - not just in games. You know I'm a perfectionist.
"What matters to me is to fight for the win, to do anything to win. I want the players to constantly strive for excellence."
The former European Player of the Year, who spent last season at Litex Lovech, also said he would clamp down on his players' use of social networking sites as he wants them to be fully concentrated on their roles.
"We must be focused when working, so they will not need to use their phone or be on Facebook as often," he said.
The 29-year-old, who joined the Bees from Dagenham in 2009, would have been out of contract this summer but has now committed himself to the Bees until 2015.
Saunders has made 141 appearances for Brentford and scored 19 goals.
He came on as a second-half substitute at Wembley as their bid for promotion last season ended in disappointment in the play-off final against Yeovil.
