Brazil midfielder Sandro has signed a new five-year contract at Tottenham, tying him to the Premier League club until 2016.
The holding midfielder joined Spurs from Brazilian side Internacional last summer and soon established himself as a first-team regular, making 26 appearances in total last season.
Sandro, who has played seven times for Brazil, hasn't featured for Tottenham after hurting his knee in the Copa America in July.
