Francisco Sandaza has urged fans to be patient as Rangers continue to adapt to their new surroundings in the bottom tier of Scottish football.
The Light Blues were forced to settle for a draw away from home once again after Saturday's goalless stalemate at Annan left them still searching for their first victory on the road in the Third Division.
Next up for Rangers is the visit of Queen of the South in the quarter-final of the Ramsdens Cup, with a far more impressive record at Ibrox suggesting they should be able to return to winning ways on Tuesday night.
However, Sandaza is well aware of the frustration of fans following some of their recent results and was keen to point out that the club is still going through a transitional period following a turbulent time.
He said: "There is higher pressure and the supporters want results immediately but it's a new team and I want them to be a bit patient with us.
"We are on our way and I'm sure the results will come. It's only September, it has only been one month.
"We were not happy with the result at the weekend and we didn't play very well.
"But it's a project, we have to get settled and there are many new players.
"I have confidence that we will do well soon. We are doing the right things, in the right way, and I'm not panicking or frustrated.
"The results will come - I'm sure of that. We want to achieve good things this year. We need a bit of time but I think we are doing the right things."
Sandaza came off the bench after 10 minutes on Saturday to replace David Templeton, who looks set to be sidelined for a number of weeks with ankle ligament damage.
While his team-mate is bracing himself for a spell in the treatment room, Sandaza is satisfied with his own fitness after some injury problems of his own.
He said: "I felt well on Saturday and I thought I played well. I was a bit unlucky with the chances.
"My fitness was much better and I'm quite happy with the performance on Saturday.
"The result wasn't right but I took it as a positive for me because I am feeling much better on the pitch.
"I'm happy with my fitness right now. Soon, I will start to score goals."
The Spaniard says Rangers are keen to progress in the Ramsdens Cup as they aim for a clean sweep of trophies this term.
He said: "We are taking this competition seriously and we want to win it.
"It's a new competition for us, we have never played in it before, but we want to win all the competitions this year so we will go for it."
