Inter Milan's Serie A match at Sampdoria has been postponed because of bad weather.

The match had been due to kick off at 20:45 local time (19:45 GMT) on Sunday but has been called off at Inter's request.

Heavy rain and snow is forecast to hit northern Italy and an extreme weather warning will be in place in the evening, with a risk of flash floods.

The Stadio Ferraris is in an area that is at risk of flooding.
