The 19-year-old made his return as Rovers came back from 2-0 to draw with Blackpool at Ewood Park on Saturday, and Samba believes the England U21 starlet will be key in the relegation battle. Samba said: "We're going to need his enthusiasm and character. He's a player who has that fire and will never give up. "He's a young player but he's important for us because he shows the other young players that now it's about who wants to stay in this league the most. "He's somebody who works and never stops. He'll run and run again. I think if he goes and makes a tackle other players will follow his example, so it's great to have Jonesy back."
