Sahin voted best player of the Bundesliga season

Real Madrid-bound midfielder Nuri Sahin has been voted the best player of the season by his fellow Bundesliga players.

Sahin helped Borussia Dortmund win the title and is headed for Real Madrid.

In a poll conducted by Kicker magazine, 46.1 percent of the 298 Bundesliga players taking part gave their vote to Sahin. Fellow Dortmund midfielder Mario Goetze got 18.7 percent and Bayer Leverkusen's Arturo Vidal finished with 7.4 percent.
