Sagna welcomes Gervinho link
Lille claim Arsenal are set to hold talks with Gervinho about a possible move to the Emirates this week. Arsenal are favourites ahead of Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle to land the highly-rated Ivory Coast international. Sagna believes the skilful attacker would be a welcome addition to Arsene Wenger's side next season. "I've heard about him. He's a gifted player," Sagna told France's RMC radio station "This season, he was a key player for Lille, and really help his team to be champion. "He's got a wonderfull technique on a football field, and I'm sure he would be welcome." Meanwhile, Sagna insists he plans to stay at Arsenal despite being linked with a move away from the club. The likes of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan have been linked with the right-back, but Sagna claims he is happy to remain with the Gunners. "I have a very good feeling playing with these team, and I'm convinced a lot of French players want to be in my position," added Sagna. "But it's true I would have preferred to finish the season with a smile and a trophy. "Everything is possible, but I can say I'm now at Arsenal 99%."
