Tranmere's League One trip to Swindon has been rescheduled as a 7:45pm kick-off on Friday, December 21.
The match was due to take place the following day but, with an eye on the hectic festive fixture schedule, both clubs have reached agreement with the Football League to move it forward.
Rovers boss Ronnie Moore told his club's official website: "The new date will give us extra time to prepare for the busy Christmas period when we've got three games in seven days."
