Rovers return for Goodwillie
David Goodwillie has cut short a loan spell at Crystal Palace and returned to Blackburn Rovers after struggling to settle in London.
Goodwillie linked up with Palace on transfer deadline day in an agreement which was due to run until January.
However, the 23-year-old has opted to head back to his parent employers ahead of schedule.
Goodwillie made just one substitute appearance during his time at Selhurst Park after finding it difficult to acclimatise to life in the capital.
"David Goodwillie has agreed to go back to Blackburn Rovers as he's struggled to settle in London," Crystal Palace assistant manager Lennie Lawrence told the Croydon Advertiser.
"It was in everybody's best interests that he went back, so that's happened.
"He just couldn't settle and it's just one of those things."
