Formica joined Rovers from Newell's last January and has scored twice in 19 appearances for the club so far. The 23-year-old has previously admitted his desire to return to South America but Rovers are only willing to let him go if their reported 5million euros valuation is met. "My agent spoke with the leaders of Blackburn to see if they would let me go on loan. It was a possibility and I got excited a lot," Formica said in quotes reported by the Lancashire Evening Telegraph. "But the sporting director told him to sit and talk only if it was a sale." It has been revealed, meanwhile, that Carlo Ancelotti wants to name Paul Clement his assistant at Paris Saint-Germain, just three months after Kean appointed him his number two at Ewood Park.
