Rovers: Money no problem

There have been questions about the Venky's group in a pre-season when the inexperienced Myles Anderson - son of agent Jerome Anderson - has been the only arrival at Ewood Park. Manager Steve Kean has always maintained negotiations for targets are ongoing, and Partizan have confirmed talks are taking place regarding the sale of Serbia midfielder Radosav Petrovic. But a mood of pessimism remains among Blackburn fans at a time when a tour of Asia is being undertaken with a squad containing just 16 players with more than one Premier League start to their name. Venky's, though, insist there is no need to panic, as co-owner Venkatesh Rao told the Lancashire Telegraph: "Money is not a problem, the problem is miscommunication and the rumours have led to this situation, for which I am very sorry. "We want to run it as a company, very systematically. On spending, we are very much meticulous and we want to do it positively."
