The 19-year-old is currently part of Luis Enrique's Barcelona B side, who are flying high in the Segunda Liga. Rovers scouts are understood to have checked on Rochina in recent weeks and have been impressed with what they have seen. The young forward started his career with Valencia, before joining Barcelona aged just 13, and he has made good progress through the ranks. Now Barca have confirmed that Rovers have made contact, although club sources insist no concrete bid has been made.
