Rossi leaves Palermo for second time

Delio Rossi has ended his tumultuous term as Palermo coach by mutual consent with club president Maurizio Zamparini.

Rossi was fired in February but then rehired less than two months later after Serse Cosmi led the team briefly.

Rossi then led the Sicilian club to the Italian Cup final, earning Palermo a spot in next season's Europa League despite the 3-1 loss to Inter Milan on Sunday.

He was hired by Palermo midway through the 2009-10 season.
