Rosler: We will get it right

Uwe Rosler bemoaned the number of times his Brentford side were caught offside after they drew 0-0 against Shrewsbury on Tuesday.

Paul Hayes had the ball in the net in the second half as he diverted a Harry Forrester cross home but his effort was ruled out by the assistant's flag, much to the frustration of Rosler.

"There is no need for that when you have the pace we have up front, but I do think the strikers are a little short on confidence. Goals will solve that though," he said.

The game's big talking point came just before Hayes' disallowed goal as referee Tim Robinson pointed to the penalty spot after the ball cannoned off Tony Craig's hand above his head, only to reverse the decision after talking to his assistant and deny Shrews the spot-kick.

"I thought it was a penalty having seen it on video, but I thought a draw was a fair result and also felt that Shrewsbury were very strong and caused us a lot of problems," an honest Rosler added.

"We will work in training to get it right and we will get it right because we have some very good young and experienced players here who will work hard for each other to make sure that happens."
