Barnet boss Mark Robson is searching for a striker in the loan market to share some of the goalscoring burden with Jon Nurse.
Nurse has found the net twice this season but looked isolated on his own in attack as the Bees lost 3-1 at Gillingham last weekend, a result which left them rooted to the foot of League One.
Experienced frontman Steve Kabba is still recovering from a long-term knee injury so Robson is hunting for reinforcements.
"We are looking, we are trying to get another striker in to help us along the way, that's for sure," he said.

"We created chances against Gillingham but we are not putting them away."
