Barnet boss Mark Robson was left bemoaning his team's dismal start to the 4-1 defeat at Morecambe.

Early first-half goals from Kevin Ellison and Andy Fleming put the Shrimps in charge before a pair of late penalties from Richard Brodie saw off the resurgent Bees.

Jon Nurse grabbed a consolation at the death.

Robson said: "We just weren't at the races in the first half and didn't get going at all.

"I was surprised how poor we started and I don't really know why we were so poor.

"We have to make sure we get ourselves up for every game and that didn't happen today. It's strange because we have been on a decent run but it just didn't happen which was disappointing because we have been so solid in recent weeks.
