Robins swoop for Royals teen

Cheltenham Town manager Mark Yates has signed Reading youngster Lawson D'Ath on an initial one-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old midfielder, who spent a 15-game spell on loan at Yeovil last season, will boost the numbers at Whaddon Road with Russ Penn serving a one-match suspension this weekend and former West Brom midfielder Darren Carter a doubt.

D'Ath has made one appearance for the Royals, in an FA Cup tie against Stevenage in January, and will be in the squad to face Exeter at Whaddon Road.
