Roberts was made available for sale during the summer by Sam Allardyce but a switch failed to materialise before Tuesday's deadline. Allardyce, however, did name the forward in his 25-man Premier League squad on Wednesday and Roberts insists he will continue to give his all for the club despite a bleak-looking future at Ewood Park. Roberts told the Lancashire Telegraph: "For me it is not a problem, not a problem at all. "I am a Blackburn Rovers player and if the club wants me at any point I will do my best and will do everything I can for the team. "I am comfortable with continuing where I am and I am comfortable with what I can do here. "I will do my best, train hard and continue to be as professional as I can be." The addition of Mame Biram Diouf and Benjani has frozen Roberts out of the picture at Rovers, but the 32-year-old believes he has nothing to prove after scoring more Premier League goals than any other striker at Ewood Park last season. He said: "Football is all about opinions, I know that and I have no problem with that. "I honestly don't believe I have got anything to prove. "All I can do is keep doing what I have always done. "I scored more league goals than all our other strikers put together last season and I am comfortable with my record of five goals in 15 starts. "I believe I can still score goals in the Premier League and will look to do that if I get the chance. "It is up to other people to pick the side. All I can do is work hard, turn up for training and I of course will continue to do that. "I have got no problem here." Roberts continued: "I have no clue what will happen. "Obviously I haven't spoken to the manager yet because we haven't trained since the close of the window. "I am a Blackburn Rovers player and I have always been available for selection and will continue to be. "My job is to play football, I have a contract to do so and have done that at Blackburn Rovers for the last four years. "Nothing will change as far as I am concerned."
