Ricketts on the road back
Ricketts, who sustained a ruptured Achilles tendon in February in an FA Cup tie at Wigan, is nearing a return to full training and feeling good about how his rehabilitation is progressing. "It's going very well," the 30-year-old Wales international told www.bwfc.co.uk. "I'm hoping to be back outside training with the lads any time soon, even if it is for just half a session. "From that I will be looking to build it up to full sessions and then progress into playing games in the reserve team. "Everything seems like it is going according to plan at the moment. Hopefully that can continue to be the case and I will have no reactions to progressing with the workload. "It will be the first time that I will have kicked a ball in over eight months, although I have done some ball work in the one-to-one sessions with the physios. "I'm not too sure how quickly I will be able to start playing reserve matches, but hopefully within the next two weeks I will be able to get a short run out, even if it is for just 30 minutes or so. "It's all about building it up to get that elusive and important match fitness."
