Bayern Munich says midfield star Franck Ribery has suffered another
injury setback and has missed the opening of the club's training
camp in Dubai because both his big toes are swollen.
The Frenchman's toes swelled up after a jog Sunday in Munich
before the team flew to Dubai, and both had to be drilled to
relieve the pressure, according to Bayern's Web site Monday.
Ribery has made only six Bundesliga appearances for Bayern
this season after suffering knee problems. The season resumes Jan.
15 after its winter break.
