Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp says the club is in talks with Manchester City over a move for Emmanuel Adebayor.
Redknapp says ''the chairman is talking to Man City about the player but where they are at, I genuinely don't know.''
Adebayor has fallen out of favor at City and spent part of last season on loan at Real Madrid.
Tottenham and City have been in negotiations for some time over a possible transfer for the Togo striker but the player's reported salary of 170,000 pounds a week has provided a stumbling block to the deal's completion.

Adebayor joined City from Arsenal, Tottenham's fierce north London rival.
