Real Madrid keeping injured Ronaldo on ice
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says Cristiano Ronaldo will not play this weekend as the club guards its top player from aggravating his injury.
Ancelotti says Ronaldo has recovered from a hamstring injury but ''but he doesn't feel comfortable yet so we won't risk him.''
Madrid is third in the Spanish league, six points behind leader Barcelona, going into Saturday's game against Valladolid.
Ancelotti says Ronaldo will likely not return to the field before a Spanish league match at Osasuna on Dec. 14.
Ronaldo is suspended for next weekend's Copa del Rey game and will likely not play at FC Copenhagen in the Champions League with Madrid having already clinched top spot in Group B.
Also, Ancelotti dismissed reports on Friday suggesting defender Sergio Ramos could be sold.
