The German football league says last Sunday's Bundesliga derby between Hamburg and St. Pauli, canceled because of a waterlogged pitch, will be played on Wednesday, Feb. 16.
The match was called off after an inspection of the Imtech Arena on Saturday found the pitch to be unplayable following heavy rain.
The derby at the 57,000-seat stadium was sold out for weeks and tickets are valid for the new date, with kick off at 6:45 p.m.
Hamburg coach Armin Veh says, ''it is good that a date was found quickly.''

St. Pauli coach Holger Stanislawski added: ''A floodlit game is of course appealing for the players, even if a weekday game is always inconvenient (for our fans).''
