Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany misses out as he serves a suspension for his sending off against Wolves. Playmaker David Silva will be assessed after being substituted during the midweek Champions League win at Villarreal with a back injury. Joleon Lescott is expected to return in place of Kompany with Stefan Savic retaining his spot.
