Guimaraes moved up to second place in the Portuguese league after beating Leiria 1-0 on Saturday.

A third win out of five games for Guimaraes leaves the team on 11 points, one behind Porto, which can move four points clear if it wins at Nacional on Monday.

Olhanense, which beat Portimonense 2-0 on Friday, is third in the standings on nine points.

Also, Beira-Mar drew 1-1 with Maritimo.

On Sunday, champion Benfica seeks to improve on a poor start to the season when it plays Sporting in the Lisbon derby. Benfica has lost three out of four games so far.
