Porto caps unbeaten season with win

FC Porto warmed up for the Europa League final by capping off its unbeaten season with victory, while its upcoming opponent Braga closed out the Portuguese league season with defeat.

Silvester Varela and Walter scored inside 32 minutes as Porto won 2-0 at Maritimo, notching its 27th win from 30 games this season and matching Benfica's unbeaten 1972-73 season.

Benfica drew 3-3 with Leiria to finish second ahead of Sporting Lisbon, which beat Braga 1-0 to clinch third and the last automatic qualifying place for next season's Europa League.

Yannick Djalo scored in the fifth-minute for Sporting, spoiling Braga's season finale ahead of Wednesday's Europa League final in Dublin.

Guimaraes beat Naval 3-0 to finish fifth.
