LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) Michel Platini has arrived at the Court of Arbitration for Sport pledging to ''tell the truth, only the truth'' as he appeals against a 90-day ban from FIFA.

Platini hopes his interim ban will be frozen by Friday to allow him to attend Saturday's European Championship draw in Paris. The UEFA president could then resume campaigning for the FIFA presidency.

Platini says ''I want to tell (the judges) more than what I told you (the media).''

Platini and Sepp Blatter face life bans before the FIFA ethics committee in Zurich next week. The case centers on the payment and timing of $2 million Blatter approved in 2011 for FIFA work Platini did more than nine years earlier.
