The Tottenham boss takes his team to Everton on Wednesday evening and has appeared to indicate an interest in signing Pienaar. However, the Spurs boss did not comment on whether his club would try to sign Pienaar in the January transfer window or wait until the end of the season. "If he doesn't sign a contract he'll be a great free transfer for someone at the end of the year, if he doesn't stay at Everton," said Redknapp at his pre-match press conference. "He still belongs to Everton, so it's a difficult one. They are still trying to keep him. We'll wait and see what happens."
