Pete welcomes big Baggies boost
The Baggies had lost all three of their opening fixtures heading to Carrow Road, but Odemwingie's first goal of the campaign earned them a 1-0 win. "I think there will be a new atmosphere in the dressing room where everyone is dancing," Odemwingie told Sky Sports 1. "Norwich came up to the Premier League and obviously they were happy and inspired, and they performed so well. "I've been injured for a few weeks and I'm happy. "It's my first goal of the season and I am where I need to be mentally. It gave us confidence." Odemwingie could have returned to the Midlands with a brace, had he not seen his second-half penalty saved by rookie keeper Declan Rudd. "I made it difficult for my team-mates," he added. "I apologised to them, I was saying 'I'm sorry, I'm sorry', but we defended together after my mistake."
