Pennant keen on Stoke stay
The former Arsenal, Birmingham and Liverpool wideman is currently on loan with the Premier League outfit from Spanish side Real Zaragoza. The 27-year-old is settled and is enjoying his football for Tony Pulis' side and is keen to join permanently if terms can be agreed between clubs. Pennant has been moved by the reception he has received from Stoke's fans, stating their warm welcome has made him feel right at home. "The lads are a great set of lads. The manager has given me a platform, he's been great with me. The fans have been fantastic," he told Sky Sports News. "I don't think I could have asked for a better reception. They treat me like I've already signed and I've been a player here for two years. "The club in general is a fantastic place to be. I'm enjoying it here. I'm enjoying my football. Putting pen-to-paper would be ideal for me."
